From the first treatment, you notice a decrease in hair growth. After up to 9 treatments, your bikini line will be hair-free. These hairs do not grow back.
We depilate as much as you like: from just the groin and Venus mound to the entire bikini line including labia.
Our laser device, the Soprano Titanium, has special ICE cooling technology that continuously cools your skin during treatment. Because of this, you do not experience pain during laser treatment.
Yes, it is safe. At The Laser Lab, we work with professional equipment and experienced, trained laser specialists. You always get personalized advice with us. For good advice, it is important to be honest, for example, about a (possible) pregnancy, medication use or planned surgery.
In rare cases, side effects occur, such as stimulation of hair growth or pigment changes in the skin. These side effects are temporary and do not cause harm.
Because we use the Soprano Titanium as the only one in Amsterdam, laser treatments are more effective. Because of this, if you are poor, you should take 6 to 9 treatments.
This depends on the area: the faster the hair grows there, the less time there needs to be between treatments. The waiting time ranges from 6 to 12 weeks. In the intake interview, we discuss the expected number of treatments and how much time should be in between.
Getting your bikini line lasered painlessly
The bikini line is enormously sensitive. The idea of having that lasered might scare you: doesn’t it hurt a lot? Fortunately, lasering with us is 100% painless.

This is because the laser uses a unique technique that generates less sudden heat. As a result, at most you will feel a tingling or glowing sensation, without it becoming painful.
Preparing for bikini line lasering
We recommend that starting 6 weeks before treatment, you only depilate your bikini line with a razor blade. So do not use other methods such as waxing or depilatory cream, where you remove the hair follicle.
From 10 days before treatment, do not sunbathe extensively or go to a tanning bed.
Shave away all hair 1 day before your treatment. The laser device then reaches the hair roots optimally.
Are you (possibly) pregnant? Then we will reschedule your appointment. Under the influence of hormones, your skin reacts differently to the laser and laser hair removal is not possible for a while.
After the laser treatment
Most people do not suffer from anything after laser treatment. Sometimes the skin turns red and feels a little burning. Fortunately, this is rare and also recedes quickly. If you suffer from this, you can soothe it with a cooling gel or cool pack.
Do not sunbathe or go under a tanning bed for the first 10 days after lasering. Also avoid hot places like the sauna or a steam shower. The heat can quickly irritate the treated skin.
